A New Journey Begins
Today, just a small fraction of the people who need home-based post-acute care receive it. That problem will only grow in the coming years as the Baby Boomer generation, our country’s largest population, continues to age. Simply put, the need for home health, personal, palliative, and hospice care is only going to expand in the future.
That is why on 12/22, AccentCare and Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care officially came together as a new, combined organization to meet this need and provide the full spectrum of care that our patients, families, and partners are demanding. From personal care services (PCS) to home health to hospice, we believe that AccentCare and Seasons have the expertise and vision to broaden access, connect the care continuum, and bridge gaps in post-acute care.
Together, we are going to be a more impactful and effective company in advocating for our patients and meeting the growing need for our services.
About the Merger
Over the years, Seasons has been approached by a number of organizations that have been impressed with our performance, but until now, none were the right fit. The impact that Seasons has had across the hospice community has been significant throughout our 23-year history and now we have the opportunity to accelerate our impact on the communities we serve.
Together, our combined organization will operate over 225 sites of care across 26 states, and employ nearly 30,000 qualified professionals. Once combined, AccentCare and Seasons will work with more than 60 health systems, physician practices, and joint venture partners to provide care to more than 175,000 patients and their families each year.
Our vision is to simplify the current complexity the comes with navigating multiple companies across the continuum of care. As a combined organization, we will help patients and families, and our health system and physician partners, access our joint expertise and high-quality, dignified care.

Our Future Together

The combination of our two organizations allows us to further meet the demands of our patients, families, and partners while supporting our staff.

Now that AccentCare and Seasons are officially combined, our leadership teams are working diligently to develop a thoughtful plan that brings together the best of each organization and continues our mutual focus on quality and exceptional care.
In time, we will connect care across disciplines to make referring patients easier. For now, nothing will change for our patients, families and partners. Our health system and physician partners will continue to work with their respective AccentCare and Seasons representatives as they always have to refer patients and transition care from their practice to ours.
Our nearly 75 years of combined experience have taught us that every patient interaction is different – and that the only way to provide outstanding care is to do so with the best interest of the patient in mind at all times to ensure personalized care.
