On behalf of Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Hillsborough County, thank you for the honor of being able to serve your community. As a longtime resident of Hillsborough, I am proud to lead the effort to bring the high standards of Seasons Hospice to our area. The choice of a hospice provider is one of the most important you can make, either for yourself, for your loved one, or for your patients. With Seasons Hospice, I want you to know you are in good hands. Our local leadership team and staff here at Seasons are proud of our community connections and extensive knowledge of the local healthcare landscape, while also being able to draw upon over 20 years of clinical and operational expertise afforded to us by the larger nationwide Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care family of programs.
At Seasons Hospice, we are here for you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We operate under the standards of the Joint Commission, and are proud to offer all services under the Medicare Hospice Benefit and many private insurance providers. We offer industry-leading specialty programs like Music Therapy for every patient we serve, as well as Namaste care, and our Open Access program, among many others. Seasons is also proud to be SAGE Platinum Certified at all three of our Florida locations, including right here in Hillsborough County.
Our organization’s Mission is Honoring Life ~ Offering Hope, and we hold ourselves to that standard for every patient we serve here in Hillsborough County, every day. We recognize that patients are the true experts in their own care, and we work to tailor their hospice experience to their needs, wishes, and desires. Four Levels of Care:
As a Medicare-certified hospice, Seasons is proud to offer all four levels of hospice care: Routine, Inpatient, Respite, and Continuous Care. To learn more about these levels of care, and about when and how a patient might require a given level, click here.
Open Access: Open Access is a hospice program that allows patients currently receiving medical treatments and/or experiencing intense psychosocial issues access to hospice services earlier; a blended model between curative and palliative care. For more info >
Namaste Care: Namaste Care uses person-centered approaches to improve quality of life through meaningful sensory activities that stimulate the senses, promote relaxation, and offer comfort and serenity to those living with dementia. For more info >
Music Therapy: The use of music enhances our lives as a means of teaching, celebrating and expressing ourselves and has been in place for thousands of years. Even when people are no longer conscious or speaking, we can console and comfort them with music. For more info >
Medicare, Medicaid and the majority of private insurance plans have a hospice benefit that covers costs associated with hospice care.
