We believe that individuals and families are experts in their own care, which is why we offer a personalized plan of care for each patient and family we serve. Our community-based organization consists of a team of trained hospice and palliative care professionals that are committed to helping our patients and their loved ones live each day to the fullest.
We provide care to our patients wherever they call home, whether that is a private residence, nursing home, ALF, or other location. We understand that each patient and family’s journey and needs are different. As a Medicare-certified hospice, Seasons is proud to offer all four levels of hospice care: Routine, Inpatient, Respite, and Continuous Care. We work with our patients and medical team to determine the level of care appropriate for each patient.
The Seasons Difference
We pursue creative solutions which add quality to life, and the care and attention that each of our team members provide each day is what makes The Seasons Difference.
Seasons’ Music Therapy is live music provided by our trained and Board-Certified Music Therapists. The American Music Therapy Association defines music therapy as “…an established healthcare profession that uses music to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals of all ages.” Seasons provides music therapy to all of our patients who desire it because of the comfort and support that we’ve seen it provide again and again. Namaste Care involves meaningful sensory activities to stimulate the senses, promote relaxation, and offer comfort and serenity to our patients. It is designed to make patients feel valued and seen, and can enhance the lives of people of any age and with any disease, as well as providing moments of peace and tranquility to family caregivers. Open Access is a hospice program that allows patients currently receiving medical treatments and/or experiencing intense psychosocial issues access to hospice services earlier; a blended model between curative and palliative care. Learn More About Open Access.
The Pediatric Palliative Care Program is designed to address the unmet physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of children in Massachusetts with life-limiting illnesses, regardless of life expectancy. Our services are provided at no cost to eligible children 18 years old or younger and their families, if these services are not already covered by the child’s health care plan.
A Seasons inpatient center provides a caring environment where patients can get help for their symptoms. It is a place where loved ones may spend hours or days with the patient, providing the warmth and comfort that family and friends can offer.
Medicare, Medicaid and the majority of private insurance plans have a hospice benefit that covers costs associated with hospice care. In many cases Seasons is able to advocate for our patients and secure insurance coverage on a case-by-case basis. Our team can help you navigate this process and will keep you informed every step of the way.
